Virtual Career Networking - Phone Interviews
Join me twice a month for Virtual Career Networking (VCN) - an engaging conversation via Zoom with business professionals who are looking to stay connected, share a few laughs, and expand their professional network. Participants have an opportunity to introduce themselves to the group, ask questions and share insights about their career plans, AND learn about topics relevant to their professional growth.
On Friday, August 6th at 12 noon (CT) we are going to delve into the world of phone interviews. The 30-minute (or less!) phone interview is more popular than ever and often represents the first round of interviews in the hiring process. Too many people underestimate the importance of the phone interview however so in this session we'll review five steps to nail your phone interview (or phone screening interview) so you can move to the next round. We'll discuss the 10 questions most often asked in a phone screen interview and tips to help ensure you get a call back.If you are considering a career change, especially if it's been a while since you've been in a job search, this is a session you won't want to miss.
